So much so, that Habakkuk responds by again questioning the Lord’s ways – how could you possibly do this? However, how would we respond to answered prayer when the Lord’s answer was totally unexpected and put us out of our comfort zone?”

This Sunday we start a new sermon series based upon the Old Testament Book of Habakkuk and God. Habakkuk is struggling with the apparent lack of God’s “interest” in Israel’s declining spiritual morality and the increasing immunity of the ungodly – which brings about Habakkuk’s sincere question “Why O Lord?” Questions still relevant for today’s generations!
