Prayer and Praise Points for May 2012
Tuesday 1st – We acknowledge that we are sinners and sin against your Holy majesty; we repent… forgive us in and through the Lord Jesus Christ;
Wednesday 2nd – Thank you for the Bible, these are Your Words for life, comfort, peace, wisdom, direction, forgiveness and eternal life through faith Jesus;
Thursday 3rd – We believe in the God the Father, Jesus God the Son and God the Holy Spirit… Co-equal and One…this is Gods’ mysterious wonderful truth;
Friday 4th – We praise you Lord for Jesus our Saviour, for being saved from eternal judgment through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Saturday 5th – “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,” death could not hold Jesus down… He is risen! Jesus is God! He is Lord!
Sunday 6th – Please convert unsaved ministers and congregations Lord.
Monday 7th – Comfort and direct those with unseen torments and problems.
Tuesday 8th – Heaven is our eternal home and rest… Praise be to God.
Wednesday 9th – Jesus we adore You… Lay our whole lives before You.
Thursday 10th – All, knowing, all seeing, and all powerful eternal God be our strength and guide this day.
Friday 11th – ‘You are no longer your own; you were bought with a price.’ You belong to Jesus!
Saturday 12th – Please call more men to the ministry to serve as pastors and leaders. Bless all theological colleges.
Sunday 13th – Lord this is Your special day help us honour You and this day for Your glory.
Monday 14th – We lift to your throne the staffing problems in our hospitals, the police force and other community service groups.
Tuesday 15th – Holy Spirit stir us up to pray and read Your Scriptures more often.
Wednesday 16th – By Your Spirit, may Your love that fills us overflow to those around us that they may see Jesus.
Thursday 17th – Forgive us for not loving You Lord with our whole heart, mind and strength.
Friday 18th – Help us to recognise more clearly the worldly godlessness that we let into our hearts and minds so to repent and reject it.
Saturday 19th – ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son….
Sunday 20th – Please bring aid and help to our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
Monday 21st – God You are Lord of all weather… please comfort those who are affected by natural disaster… may they seek You in the midst of turmoil.
Tuesday 22nd – May those in economic trouble and failure seek your comfort and wisdom and direction.
Wednesday 23rd – For those so low that they contemplate suicide, please intervene and cause them to flee to You for help.
Thursday 24th – We pray for all children everywhere… may caring adults guide them and may they hear the Gospel that brings them to faith early in life.
Friday 25th – Please keep the doors of school chaplaincy open… bless and use these people.
Saturday 26th – Remove people from positions of authority who willfully blaspheme Your Name and are therefore a stumbling block to others.
Sunday 27th – Cleanse us Lord, may we desire godliness and holiness in our deepest being, for Your glory and pleasure alone.
Monday 28th – In every aspect of our lives may we seek to serve and please You… in ALL things.
Tuesday 29th – Blessing, honour, and glory to you Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Wednesday 30th – We pray for Your Truth to enlighten all those who are deceived by false religions, sects and any deceptions.
Thursday 31st – Thank you! Thank you! Lord for love and patience and faithfulness to us. May we not presume upon You.
